Job Purpose

Assist in monitoring and administrating Local Area Network, Communication and end user support, Provide support and assistance to infrastructure services including network cabling, network component installation. Calls response and timely resolution and support end users for information technology service improvement.


Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Local Area Network and communication cabling.
  • Multi skills able to resolve on one call, install communication devices – routers, hubs, modems etc to enable connectivity all sites.
  • Desktop management including installation of hardware (PC’s, printers, scanners and other devices).
  • Install, configure, maintain, troubleshoot and tune the communication devices and the existing network at all sites of company, enable stable and problem free communication to business community.
  • Configure network, and printing on network environment. Upgrade network hardware and software system as required. Ensure best use of resources. 
  • Configuration and setup of end users desktop for client installation to ensure users can access business application. 
  • Desktop support including Microsoft office suite, operating systems
  • Maintain the Help Desk log, work orders and ensure timely closure of request, meeting the response and resolution time KPI’s.
  • Assist Help Desk operations in maintaining IT assets inventory.
  • Assist peers in user problem ensure following best practices resolution
